Fls 140 mm wide, star-shaped; petals 70 x 27 mm, margins smooth, tips pointed, not recurved. Lvs alternate, 80 x 13 mm. Stems 0.9 m, dark green, with c.10 fls. Mid July. Abstammung:Unnamed asiatic hybrid x unnamed asiatic hybridBeschreibung:Vivid red (44A) inside and out, bright and glossy, unspotted; nectaries grey-white; pollen dark red (183A), anthers on long filaments which are coloured as in the petals; stigma strong yellowish pink (34D) on a long style coloured as in the petals. Fls 130mm wide; petals 60 x 35mm, not ruffled, tips strongly recurved. Lvs alternate, 72 x 21mm. Stems 1.2m, dark green, with c.18 fls in a pyramidal inflorescence. Mid June. (Standard: colour print provided by registrant (WSY 0028872). Etymology: epithet derived from flower colour and inflorescence shape.)
